just looked through your posts, they all seem to be about Astley. Hmmm...

He really doesn't seem to cope well with nerves though, he cracks under pressure. But I'm gonna take nothing away from him, he's a great talent (especially with the pace) and deserves at least a couple of starts to see what happens, who knows? Him and Reeves could be a great partnership, as was shown at Trafford.

Not quite ready yet IMO Lee. Up to him if he wants to wait for his chance or go back to Flixton.

He's certainly quick, but then so's Usain Bolt, and I doubt he'd score us twenty goals a season ! Astley's too slight for the physical challenge of BSN, and on his last two sub appearances he's seemed too eager and has consequently lost control of the ball or even tripped over his own foot !

I assume he'll get a run out in the Waste of Time Cup against County. Frankly, if he doesn't step up to the plate by then, we should cut our losses.
