The Northwich Guardian says that "Stuart Elliott faces an FA hearing in a fortnight. The Vics' skipper gets the chance to clear his name on March 15 - four months after Halifax Town's Tyrone Thompson accused him of racial abuse. But the Guardian found out before he did. A call to the club on Monday revealed the games' governing body hadn't bothered to tell them. 'It's outrageous', said Steve Burr. 'I've no idea why it's taken this long to get everybody together, but Stuart is relieved the matter can finally be resolved'... His manager said he is sickened' by the abuse his captain has endured in recent weeks, particularly from Altrincham and Witton Albion supporters. 'Stuart has conducted himself with incredible dignity', he said. 'It's been a tough time, especially when you get morons on the terrace calling him like they have done'".
