HUGE set of fixtures on Saturday
« on: March 08, 2012, 01:39:56 PM »

We've got a great chance to pick up three points at home to Bishop's Stortford, but look at the other games involving our playoff rivals:-

Boston vs Stalybridge

Gainsborough vs Nuneaton

Gloucester vs Guiseley

Hyde vs Halifax

Points will be dropped. This playoff thing is on  ;D

Pretty straight forward on terms of what we want to happen apart from that Gainsborough v Nuneaton fixture, most important thing is making sure we don't slip up against a rejuvenated bishops Stortford that are battling for their lives after a midweek set of results that put them right back in trouble

There's only one huge fixture on Saturday and that's ours. I still feel that, particularly having played a game more we are still on the no room for mistakes at all section of the season.

We absolutely must pick up the points where possible and I'm afraid that means winning all our home games (even against Halifax etc).

100% correct. Other teams' games only matter if we pick up points ourselves - and in the case of home games that means maximum points. Away I'll be grateful for whatever we get!
