And this is what's wrong with football nowadays, the bloke hasn't even stepped out on the pitch to start his warm up and he is being criticised. Why can't people just leave referees alone and leave them to their job, but if they are going to criticise, praise every decision that is made correctly
If you read my comments properly in no way am a questioning the integrity or ability of this Referee and in fact I am not questioning him at all.
My questioning is the FA appointing appointing an official to Referee a Premiership match when he lives in the same borough and 6 miles from one of the teams and 70 miles from the other. My question is if this was in line with the policy of appointing officials from neutral areas?
