What are the chances of bringing the two back home to Moss Lane?

we would have won the league if we had those two turn up in August instead of Paul Jones and Michael Twiss.

Absolutely no chance of getting Young, I wouldn't have thought. He's a regular for Alfreton in the Conference, isn't he?

Dunno about Senior. Best to wait and see what happens with Reeves, I'd have thought. But surely finding a couple of competent defenders is the priority?

They both may have had enough of the merry go round and want to come home to a club they know and where they'll be first choice.  It's not always the money/fame.

28 starts from 45 to date.......first choice earlier in the season, which to be perfectly fair was when they were getting beat, albeit by small margins. He is contracted next season (unless things change).
Would be a great addition, but cannot help thinking a fresh start is needed at the back - just like last season - but hopefully we won't be playing 20 different players at centre back next season.

Broomes did very well against Fax, but he already looks like he is a potential injury liability

When Greg Young came back to us in early 2011, he was pretty average to be honest.

Lets move on heh

After the season we've just had, I would love to recruit an average defender.
I'd take them both back in a heartbeat.

To be fair to him I heard that he played injured for a lot of that spell.

Both would vastly improve the squad whether they have been here before or not.

Would explain some of his displays Ecky, his pre York stint at this club was at a different level

We should have no hesitation in welcoming both back. And Id even be happy to see dale Johnson back. The closer we could get to that side that could have got a conference playoff place two years a go, but for injuries, the better.Theyd be outstanding in the BSN, 3 years on it not..,

Don't you think Dale has had his time here, certainly had the chance to prove himself here.  Seem to recall Graham Westley when in charge of Stevenage giving Dale a glowing report.  When he could be arsed, he was useful

Dale has the talent to play in the Football League

Sadly, all too often, he has the attitude to play in the Sunday League
