Managers end of year report 2011/12
« on: April 29, 2012, 05:01:35 PM »

Lee shows flashes of brilliance and great understanding at times. Some of the performances have been simply stunning, whilst others have been absolute garbage.Sometimes, he can flounder and not have the right solution to some problems  presented. The majority of his colleagues are supportive with some excellent results he has had this season. Progressing to later stages of any cup competion was also a mjor concern and will need to be also addressed.  Hopefully, with further funds being released shortly due to contracts expiring, he may have the money to secure his proven goalscorer, along with some further quality additions and the full backing of the management team.

Overall a satisfactory year, with some encouraging signs. There are some good foundations in place, and this is a vital year for Lee to go on to progress and achieve his full potential. Good Luck

Overall Grade-C+

Expected Grade -2012/13  A

My honest opinion:

He's had a year to look at both the team and the standard of opposition, tried plenty of players, tactics and formations.  Next season we need to hit the ground running and be there or there abouts early on, no excuses this time.  We are still a big name in BSN and should be proud of it.  Have it as Peter Kay would say.

Could and should have done better.  Hopefully Lee will be more settled in more after the break and come back with a bang.  The year for Lee to find his feet has now passed, it's time for results from the off in August.

Not learning from his mistakes or improving our defence has made me lose faith in lee, in an ideal world we would of changed manager as soon as promotion was out of our reach to bed him in etc, not good enough D.

Oh yes because your dismissive shrug of a first sentence and perfunctory second one made for a great contribution.

Despite it being his first post on this thread!

the title of the thread is Managers end of year report 2011/12 neither his post or either of your two posts have been on topic

the only point in your posts is to create argument with me

Come on then John, where has he fallen short? What did you expect and where can he improve? For the record, the first post is spot on- a season of mediocrity, more consistency next year and he will attain his target grade of an A- this season a solid C from me

Butty I was expecting a play off position - or at least to challenge for one

i have detailed my fears about the management before, so i don't think it will serve any purpose to go through them again now (it will only result in Clicky goading for argument again)

i hope we can be more consistent next season

for me to score 90 goals and only get 61 points is most certainly not a solid C

If we'd got relegated what would you have given him ? Something in Cyrillic script because you'd run out of letters ? Bloody ridiculous.
