Going to the 1/4 final next Saturday, what counts as early? Why the need to be early - security I assume?

I'd rather go there than Dover

As much time as you can turnstiles open 2 hours before kick off and security is tight as a steward supervisor
i have to be there 3.5 hours before kick off because it taking us 30 minutes or more at times to get through
the search area's.

I wish I'd smuggled in some bottle tops, to replace those the staff wouldnt let me have on top of the drinks!

Its a nightmare having 2 kids sat with you and 2 open bottles of powerade - constantly on edge waiting for one of them to knock them over. Its like guarding a ticking bomb.

Why not cycle there ?

There is cycle parking at Old Trafford according to the Olympic info.
