Absolutely loving the Olympics. Great stadia, fantastic outdoor scenery, brilliant team GB kits, and some awesome performances, mo farah being my fab.

Since when were sky blue and navy on the Union Jack? Nothing wrong with the usual athletics vest IMO

Probably a sop to the SNP to try and keep the union!   ;)

Was disgusted that the Welsh members of Team GB football refused to sing the National Anthem as it was the "English" one. Don't know why they
bothered to play at all. If they had  " Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau " as well as "God Save the Queen" they wouldn't have known the words to either!  ;)

And in case you're wondering,yes I do,even though I'm technically English.

In the absence of Hughesies "Womens Football" area of the forum I'm having to post this on here

The Semi Final at Old Trafford between Canada and USA was just an exceptional game of Football, finishing 4-3 to the USA with the winner being scored in the third minute of stoppage time at the end of the second period of extra time (3-3 at the end of 90 minutes)

A magnificent game, skill, commitment, full blooded challenges, a hat-trick from the captain of the (eventual) losing side

If only the Mens Competition had thrown up a game like this

Sadly a predictable response, not worthy of any further reply

Is Olympic football sanctioned by FIFA?

Yes when you watch the games at Old Trafford look to where the players are sitting and you will see the FIFA logo sign
on the right and its been put there for the Olympics. All signs at Old Trafford have been covered up with the London 2012 logo
even ESPECIALLY the Nike tick in the East stand has been painted out.

To be more precise....
