Cant understand being an altrincham fan, why matt doughty the left back is not starting every game, i was in the crowd on saturday and with other alty fans agreed he should of started, I also reckon Nicky Clee needs to be the left winger quality winger.

I know this has been covered but its frustrating when an experienced left back who played in the conference and was one of if not the most consistent performers is not playing with clee. they played together then and did really well why not now. Hopefully it will be changed for tommorrow's game.

Agreed. Doughty, sadly, is not fit enough, and Clee is needed further forward.

For the life of me I cant see why Clee is not played at left mid when we have others who can cover left defence. But I am not the manager or know the ins and outs of the teams fitness and strengths and weaknesses.

But hey this is Alty so anything is possible, even Coburn up front and Reeves in goal I wouldnt be shocked.

 I agree with you Phil that Sam Grimshaw should be in until Buzz is fit , with Clee in front , but the problem now is that Grimshaw has only played 45mins and 25mins at LB with 10mins right mid and a couple of 5mins at left mid ,so how match fit is he? not fit enough surely ? , and WHY

He wouldn't have been involved at all on Saturday but for Luca's injury.

We are only at the start of the season, Buzz isn't going to get match fit sat on the bench.
Surely Lee must bite the bullet and play the best team possible now, knowing that fitness will come. Buzz is certainly good enough for this league, he didn't look any worse than the rest of them on Saturday.
Nicky at left winger is the only way, especially as we have a specialist left back.

Buzz Can't start! He was blowing within 5 minutes of coming on on saturday! he should be sent off to run at least 10k a day for the next two weeks and then we'll see where we are at with him.

Remember, not long ago he stood in the noel white suite and said that he would never play again. He may have played at a higher level for us but that does not mean we have old Buzz back.
