Plan B
« on: August 19, 2012, 09:52:11 AM »

                     Coburn

Leather     Havern   Hall     Buzz

Duncan      Dens    Sam/Lacey      Clee

            Lawrie/Brook   Reeves

Why? -  Sinnot wants to play a fast passing game, it worked last year much of the time but we had no defence which is why is came unstuck against better teams,...as Brackley clearly were yesterday. To do that requires plays who are well balanced on the ball and can pass.

Richman, Bruno cant, Paddy maybe, Sam is very raw but has ability. Losing Phelan was a big blow as he could tackle and play with his head up.
We need someone like him to replace Sam/Lacey/Dens so that Dens can get back to RB but for now we need him in CM as at least he can play the Whelan role to a degree.

Discuss.

In an ideal world I'd play three upfront:        Clee           Reeves         Watmore.

Our three best attackers and I think all would agree.

When I say 'in an ideal world' I mean you change a system overnight.

Wouldn't play Clee top line

Just because I think if we played him LM, it means he can pick it up deeper and run at players whilst stretching the play

He'd have freedom to drop as much as he likes.

The team at the top of this thread makes sense, but our two full backs would be very weak. Maybe try Sam at left back. They say Leather is a right back, so let's see if he can play in that position. I still think that the management team will be working flat out to bring a replacement in for Phelan and that would hopefully make a big difference.

Is this a priority or maybe a left back if Lee does not seem to have enough confidence on Doughty's abilities to play him as first choice there?
