Apparently barred from refereeing our games the last two years. Thought he was ok, couple of soft decisions in both sides and a few grins to the hecklers

if i had known that I'd have given him less stick.....actually i wouldn't....every single time damian got the ball their number 8 was practically making rough man love to him....and the ref either didn't see it....or didn't see anything wrong with that.....also seemed to only give about 1 in 5 fouls which tended to annoyingly be the soft ones.....he's not as a good a ref as his brother was a footballer.

How old is he?  Looked young to me so maybe a touch of learning the trade still.  My criticism would be one of inconsistency.  Seen many worse than him.

Worst referee I've ever seen was a certain Mr G Shaw of Oldham (always remembered him). He sent off three Alty players in a home fixture against Slough Town around 1995/96 or thereabouts. He also had a stinker in one of our away games at Halifax if I remember correctly.

From my memory Kingy had a couple of lads on loan from Man City for that game, don't think they were bothered being on the field or off it....
