Covered terrace behind each goal as well, hopefully we can bunch up and get an atmosphere rocking..

My memory of Leek Town is of the dramatic FA Trophy clash in 1972, when we were 3-0 down before a rip roaring comeback saw Alty win 4-3 - one of my favourite players of the time, Alan Wolfe notched a couple, John Cooke got another and John Owens got the 4th.  My favourite comeback until Southport in the cup, which was in turn surpassed by the famous Mossley game

Before we get to the nitty-gritty of what the outcome will be on the day (Leek win btw), it should be noted that the Leek town centre area is undergoing a major road network restructure.

We're not talking one set of temporary lights, we're talking dozens of the buggers.

Please allow plenty of time for travel to the game and in/around town.

Cheers for that info, very usefull.

I guess we should all come on a skateboard now.

Winnable game for both teams, but I fancy our chances.

Cup football on a ploughed field in October - anything can happen!!!

If it goes ahead on the 6th, Stoke City aren't playing until Sunday and Port Vale have a mammoth trip to Exeter. I can see it being a cracking turnout and a fantastic cup-tie atmosphere.

In the previous round, Leek Town defeated Bridgnorth Town 3-0:

Danylyk appears to have injured his ankle in their opening game of the season and has yet to return to first team action.

Let's hope that we can evoke those happy memories of a 4-0 FA Trophy victory there back in January 1991 and Harry Wiggins' lost contact lens!

I was just going to mention Harry Wiggins's contact lens: weird how little things like that stick in the memory. We scored some belting goals that day - I seem to remember John Brady's was an absolute peach.

Its a good draw and a great opportunity for the club to bank £7,500

Will be good to see Danylyk again...

You've got to be  pleased with that draw lads :D :D
I reckon you will win quite comfortably. I was thinking of turning up if you'd drawn someone I could have got there and back to in a day - Leek don't even have a railway station.
Harrogate or Bradford would've been OK. Would be good to meet up with you lot again 'cos I didn't get to speak with most of you.
Mind I was talking like Charlie the cat by the end of the night!! ;)

I wouldn't be so sure.

Hinckley Utd needed a replay and extra-time to edge us out at the same stage last season.

We were one result from promotion last year, eventually falling just short against a good Ilkeston side in the play-off final.

It's fair to say that Leek Town have turned the corner and will make a game of it.

To be fair, Hinckley were absolutely toilet last season.   ;)

However, make no mistake, we'll be expecting a very difficult tie and I'd be relieved to be in the hat for the next round.

284... But our secretary is a very poor counter when the away club gets half the gate receipts
