I live in Shrewsbury and we have had about 2 - 3 inches since 7-00 AM and its heading towards Alty so I dont expect that there will be much footy being played in WA15 tomorrow (hope I am wrong though)

If it is off, it will be due to frozen pitch and not snow. Seems a lot of the Manchester area just got a dusting last night, with similar forecast tonight.

Am I just making this up, or is there something that frost covers only work upto a temperature of -3? As it's not forecast to drop below that.

I think it's minus 5 but we don't have full pitch covers anyway.

Main Site says :  In advance of tomorrow's scheduled game against Solihull Moors, the match referee will carry out an inspection of the Moss Lane pitch this afternoon. His decision will be relayed here when known

I very much doubt it - like others have said will be because of frozen pitch - not so much amount of 'snowfall' (possible title for next bond film?)
