Many congratulations to Rob Gilroy

I missed this story earlier in the week so apologies if this is old news to some.  The main site has a fantastic item about Alty FC Youth player Rob Gilroy who not only scored for the England schools team against Scotland but also captained the side. That to me is worthy of a huge round of applause.

Well done to Rob, and to your family.

Come on folks, lets hear it for Rob.

Brilliant stuff.

Wonder if he could be next seasons star?  Certainly got the pedigree and mixing in the right circles.

perhaps we blood him(no pun intended against Hinckley.  not Droylesden because they would kick him off the park, and probably not Halifax either.

One of the advantages of being in the BSN is that we can take risks on younger players and see them grow (Watmore, Leather).  This will be much more difficult at BSP level.
