What is the best pub/restaurant in Altrincham?
I'm looking for somewhere nice that you can have a chat
and no loud music etc.
Thanks.

Here is a link for info about 6 pubs in alty (ish) http://www.thebestof.co.uk/local/altrincham/community-hub/blog/view/the-best-six-pubs-in-altrincham

The best for a QUIET drink is the The Quarry Bank Inn in Timperley, though not in alty you can get there in 5 mins on a bus.

If it needs to be IN alty, then go the the Bricklayers arms or Market Tavern, they are quality but do have music.

The quietest (but not the best) is the Malt Shovels as they are not permitted to play music and not many people go there, and its cheap. It is behind the offices across the road from the station and also has The Vitoria opposite, which is a horrible green so I cant sit in there haha

More a bar than a pub but have you tried Mort Sabite? Good selection of European beers, quaint atmosphere and fit waitresses. It's oposite the hospital, and I believe, used to be the morgue back in the day.
