Lee said that the fans reaction to our equaliser produced a response from our players that ultimately led to our winner. That's a good enough reason for our people to celebrate the way they did. Gives us a psychological edge.

You're dead right about the mind games.

Thankfully, the people who matter (ie. our manager and players) just seem to be getting on with the job in hand.

Can't wait for tomorrow - come on Alty!!!!

Most football fans would go crackers at any injury time winner after such a hard-fought game even if it was a bread and butter mid-table game on a cold October evening. Anyone who condemns such behaviour, or thinks it's out of place, clearly doesn't understand the game or the passion it instills in people. I suppose Billy Turley used to play for Rushden in an empty white elephant of a stadium, so perhaps that's the football culture he's used to?

If they were intimidated by the crowd on Tuesday night, how on earth will they cope on Saturday with a rowdy away crowd in even closer proximity to them?

If the promise from the terraces of "Taking over, taking over, taking over Saturday" comes to fruition I hope they have plenty of tissues to wipe away the tears from the inevitable "it's not fair" blubbing that will go on.

I see their comments as an indication that they're rattled. It's a nonsensical thing to say and deep down, deep deep down Tommy, they know it.

TURLEY ? Is it an "L" or a "K" ?

You may all understand now why the Knobsock of the Season poll is a little late this year......
