FC United v Witton
« on: May 07, 2013, 05:05:46 PM »

Now that I've just about come to terms with Saturday and us being in the BSN again, who would people prefer in this one?

As a club, I have to say that I'd definitely like Witton to come up and should FCUM get promoted they'll probably be more likely to challenge in the top half which I would prefer not to happen if we're to give it a go next year as well. On the other hand a league tie against Witton probably wouldn't generate anything like the income that an FCUM tie would...

EDIT: Although, the police costs would probably be higher than any game we've had for a while.

Maybe but they (Policing costs) would be much less than for Stockport unfortunately

Witton but fear it will be fcum, whoever wins tonight has to beat fylde or hednesford in final

Good point, hadn't thought of that.

Good luck to Witton.

Seconded.

Would be good to see Mark Harris back at Moss Lane again next season.

I want the big crowds, big revenue and the big atmosphere, therefore FCUM to be promoted.

Heart says Witton; head (shaking regretfully) says FCUM. Hope springs eternal, but I fear it will indeed be the latter.

I went to a Witton match with Keith Davey and TwissinaterRAFC in January, smart ground very good set up, decent number of fans and they have Marc Joseph. What's not to love? Witton for me, but if they do lose I'd want FCUM to win in the final.
