I honestly believe that if Keith cut himself shaving he would have bled red and white stripes.

Mention every player you care to......but Keith Davey was truly an Alty legend.

Please can we dedicate the away end snack bar to him ? A memorial he would have cherished and which would be a fitting tribute to one very special guy !

I thought the same Phil.

Daveys or the like would be a nice tribute to him, I'm sure the club will have plans.

So sorry to hear about Keith. always enjoyed banter with him over the Mars Bar nickname I always called them.

He certainly understood where that one came from, all round nice guy and major part of our club. I assume the club will post funeral details when known

RIP Keith, like many others I remember as a kid going to the snack bar where the Family Stand is now for a half time hot choc from Keith on cold nights. Never braved the "Dragon's Blood" hot vimto though. Difficult to imagine him not being at Moss Lane anymore

Very sad news, indeed.

I was sat next to Keith at that Tony Sanders tribute event only a few weeks ago.

Here he is (alongside some other familiar Alty stalwarts) in a photograph from the Altrincham Guardian back in 1980:
