A huge blow. Hope young Greg is good.
Good luck Danny and thanks for everything you've done at Alty.

Sorry to see him go but when it's his best mate, a chance to go into management and with (let's be honest) his club then he couldn't really turn that down.

Been a joy to watch him, one of those players who just made time and space around him.

It was a pleasure watching him in an Alty shirt and I wish him well.

His words about the club serve as a reminder of how lucky we are as well to have good people around the place.

Sad sad news but onwards and good luck to Greg.

That is a very good statement by Bosh! Good luck to him and thanks for speaking so highly of our special club! I remember Wilkinson and thought of him as a decent player and he's of good stature but let's not underestimate jake moult,  he's a good player! We have options,  but we need a centre back and wide men!

Big loss. In frantic games he was always able to put his foot on it, make time and get us passing. But the Club have handled it with class as usual so good luck to him, and welcome Greg.

He'd signed a contract. He should have turned round to his Guiseley pal and said sorry mate, already committed. Sounds like an illegal approach as well. No great loss, gave the ball away too much and didn't start enough games.

Anyone who knows the slightest little bit about football would consider this a loss infact I would stay in the pub on a match day and not watch something I know nothing about

It's a blow and if I'm reading between the lines in Grahams statement correctly, sounds like he was on a good deal of money.  In reality though, although a big blow, what alternative at our level is there.  Yes we could have said no but would we then have the Boshell playing for us we know.  Good luck to him in his new role.

Guiseley is his club, he was offered the chance to go into management at a pretty decent level and its also with his best mate who lives 100 yards from him.

When he signed his contract I'm sure this never crossed his mind but things change.

If he had announced he wanted to fulfil his dream of playing in midfield for Leamington then I'd be annoyed but I think this is perfectly understandable.

Do you honestly think we should stop his ambitions and hold onto a player who doesn't want to be here?

No great loss in my opinion and let's be honest he looked a bit like Wallace and Gromit.
