A former Bournemouth and Gillingham defender, Pennock's only previous managerial experience came at Welling between 2005 and 2007 -

An interesting appointment.

I understand that Steve Burr turned down FGR to stay at Kidderminster Harriers despite being offered an annual salary of around £160,000.

Incredible stuff.  Steve Burr may be a Macc fiend but he should be applauded for staying with a proper club like Kiddy rather than take the dough and take part in that daft experiment.
