At least it's still in our own hands - unlike last year.
I know we're going to be OK.

looked as though the bloody daggers put out a full side which is quite suprising following the last 2 weeks. fgr didn't have too good a day either, 3-0 up for the second time in two matches and we end up drawin! hope u stay up although we could do with tamworth beatin u for our own chances, if we had taken our games against stevenage and woking we would be out of this relegation battle

Extraordinary collapses over thge last 2 weeks (do you have the England cricket team playing for you?).

Its very tight. For what its worth (I can't believe I'm saying this!) I think FGR is probably safe.

your right they are huge collapses!!! we have a fantastic manager in jim harvey but he has taken off danny carey-bertram 2 weeks in a row now and gone defensive and we've ended up throwing it all a way!!! #

funny you say have we got the england cricket team playing for us becuz our goalkeeper coach is jack russell!!!

I'd forgotten about that!

I did suggest after this was featured on the BBC website that FGR might declare mid-season!

Not to name drop or anything, but Alty can number several of the Australian cricket team amongst its fans.

Nope! Our chairman, Geoff Goodwin, drives them around the country when they tour England. He has built up a very good relationship with them & they invited him to one of the Ashes test matches last Winter.

They came to see one of our pre season matches the last time they toured.

I think it was Peter Davenport or Clayton Blackmore (I am sure one of my more learned Alty brethren will confirm) who was managing at the time.
It was a very convincing Alty performance & I do recollect the Aussies were impressed. The visit was covered on Sky sports and local news.
