I'd be amazed if we got anything by not changing things drastically at half time........we will now see what lee is really made of....hednesford have come back from 2-0 down to guiseley....we need a reaction and a 2nd half performance otherwise we will be playing this league next season...I'd go 3-5-2 and bring on doughty for griffin.....

I'm expecting the same players to trot out the same nonsense for 15 minutes, go 2-0 down and finally start playing and lose 3-1

have to say lee made the right changes....maybe if we'd gone out from the kick off as we ended the game then maybe we'd control the game from the off....

now 7 points behind telford with a game in hand......4 behind ferriby same games......hope is still there.......as is delusion thinking we'll do it....win all our games and who knows...

Looking at the table,I have us at 4th,and that's where we'll end up.
Disappointing, but the title went some time ago IMO

Their number 6 didn't give Walshaw a look in all day. Strikes me what you need to win this league is loads of determination, close down quickly and exploit mistakes. Strangely enough exactly how we played in the second half.

When teams close us down we can't/don't perform.

At least we showed something in the second half that might keep the neutrals in todays excellent crowd interested for the playoffs.  Good goal by Wilkinson, apart from that very little else happened.

No game for Telford ( I know, I know) , Hednesford and Boston in the week so we must go and beat Oxford to cement the playoffs and then see how high we can get.

Well done Telford on producing the result when it mattered at Colwyn Bay,  if North Ferriby were to win it it would have made the league more of a farce.

When push came to shove we came up short and simply weren't good enough.

It isn't a case of not being good enough in my opinion. It's impossible to play against a team who just foul and dive when the referees let them do it. Also the liner who kept giving those questionable offside decisions didn't help either.

Better second half but ferriby or Telford a poor side will win this league and that's dissapointing

If Perry had concentrated on playing football and not trying to fight with the two center halfs he might have actually been involved in the game but sadly
most of it passed him by.
If you are going to play a player like Perry you need to be putting crosses in the box for him to atttack but dont think we put a decent cross in all game.
I personally have only seen him play well against Stalybridge but thats not really saying much as Stalybridge were woefull.

We far too often let teams easily close us down by playing too narrow and only using one side of the pitch at a time.

First half was awful but at least we showed a bit of spirit in the second half even if i could not quite figure out what formation we were playing at times.

Onwards to Oxford now which will be a very tricky game but I'm looking forward to it.
