Apparently we've signed Joe Jackson from Barrow?

EDIT: Now at Workington, not Barrow.

He's off to uni in Manchester according to the Workington forum so looks like it could be on. Got to admit I can't remember too much of him from the season, 13 goals though which isn't bad for a relegated side.

But if he does you'll be able to read all about in 'The Sunday Papers' and even hear about it  'On Your Radio.'

If he has/does sign, I will be delighted. Not as much for the player, as I can't remember much about him, but more for the fact the dust hasn't settled and the management are getting their business done. Get the nucleus of the side signed up, some big decisions to be made on who stays/goes, and bring in the players required to compete in the Premier.

Congratulations on your promotion.

Joe will be a decent signing for you, probably won't get too many goals at that level but will score enough to keep you happy. You'll probably have better though, so I would imagine he'll be slightly down your pecking order. Good honest lad & I hope he does well for you.

Shame though as a lot thought he'd come back here.

Best of luck for next season - always enjoyed visiting your spot.

I'd love to be proved wrong but perhaps we won't have reeves and walshaw next season.  Would love to see both have signed up

Workington were chanting his name a lot of moss lane so odds are he was very good for them looked decent against us but that's all I can add let's hope he does well I also like the fact we've made an early signing as for the previous post we been told Damien will only leave for a league club and I'd be amazed if wally left after Saturday night
