That's right Harold, we are covering the pre-season friendlies from Tuesday July 22nd onwards.

We normally cover home pre-season friendlies & the odd away friendly & that's exactly what we are planning on doing this year with the 3 home friendlies & the trip to Hyde.

It's always a little tricky trying to strike the right balance here & we have tried to take the following into consideration:-

Press facilities at the match venue
Availability of team sheets, which isn't a given in some of the early away friendlies
Likely listening figures
Level of opposition
How close the game is to the start of the season

It looks like you've understood Brian's statement about commentary starting on Jul 22. Well done.

Greg Young has signed for Buxton, can't get to the game myself but would be nice to see him once more.
