I wonder whether their opinion might have changed by 10pm next Tuesday?  ;)

I would say there's every chance.

By 9.30 Tuesday I hope to be serenading them with "You're gonna be here for years".

Knowing Alty, I would probably start singing that ten minutes or so later - i.e. after the ref blows the final whistle!  :D :D :D :D

Looks like we may as well give up now!!
They underestimate how difficult it was to get out of the Conference north last year, some of the teams with supposedly stronger squads wouldn't have managed it last season.
I'm looking forward to surprising a lot of people, starting on Saturday.

Time will tell but I think some clubs will be in for a shock this season.

Starting this Tuesday at Moss Lane

I would say it's very much to our advantage if clubs choose to underestimate us.

We just need to bring our 'A' game as often as possible and I reckon we'll be ok.

No disrespect but we should be beating teams like Altrincham.

I dont think we should get ahead of ourselves. We are in for a long hard season ahead. Of course we will win some games but more than likely we will lose more than we win and draw put together.

However I do think we are in better position than we were in our last attempt in the Conference National when we were relegate every season and won a couple of AGM cups.

It is exciting and I can't wait for the season to start.

If you disregard the farcical points deduction for the James Robinson affair, we actually finished outside the relegation zone 3 times out of 6. Not a fantastic record, but we did hold our own to a large extent.

If we do that, we'll almost certainly be relegated. You can't be suggesting that, surely? I'm expecting something like W13 D13 L20 and that should keep us up.

Win 15
Draw 7
Lose 24

Hehehe.
I do expect though that 13 13 20 is more likely.

That's what I mean. I don't think 52 points will be enough as it's going to be close in the bottom half with a lot of teams scrapping.

Having said that, I'd settle for W22 D0 L24  ::) That should put us top half  :D :D

PS: Can I just say, Chris, my 6 year old grandson has always looked up to you (but not for much longer)  ;) :o
