Assume Clee was booked for timewasting as he took a long time to go off after being subbed.

Clee was presumably booked for time wasting, as was Reeves. I thought the ref had a decent game.

More importantly we played well and deserved the win.

From where I was stood it looked like he missed a clear push in the back in the build up to their goal.

Top result and a cracking atmosphere in the corner for the second half.

Well, that was much better wasn't it? Will the imposter calling himself Marshall today, please step forward. He was absolutely brilliant and long may it continue! It was great to have Scott back and to have a bloody proper defender playing at full back. I felt that the game was won and lost in the way both Reevsey and Gillespie ran their two centre halves completely ragged. To be fair, they'll never have an easier day, as I'm not sure their number 6 was even a footballer, but has anyone ever seen Reevsey work so hard in a football match before? My only negative today, and it is a small one, is that Nicky seemed to run out of steam by the hour mark and wasn't replaced soon enough - I think a better team would have exploited that, but on the whole that was a very enjoyable game of football today - WELL DONE ALTY!!!

I thought at the time that in the second half at Aldershot Marshall was excellent and it sounds like he was again today, long may it continue

Ross Joyce - need we say more?

To be fair he got all the bookings right..........including those of Reeves (standing on the ball?) and Clee (timewasting after being subbed?).............another surprise today considering it was our old friend Mr Joyce

Don't want to single anyone out today, they all worked their tripe off.  It was a superb battling team performance and they must be buzzing tonight.

Got to have a word for Marshall though who was superb but also Cavanagh who was cool as a cucumber all the way through.  Could be one of our most influential signings of recent years with his experience, he will drag us through games.

Nice week off playing now, 2 sessions to work on the little things and then pick it up again at Southport.
