They say he is ill.
He tried to leave the board earlier in the year, but was persuaded to stay on.
Bet he wishes he hadn't bothered.

It is games like this that show us up in a good light. We had similar comments from Grimsby fans when they visited. We are a friendly bunch and more than welcome friendly opposing fans. Unfortunately both teams can not take home 3 points.

This is an outdated method, and must change if the league is going to move with the times.

At the end of the game there were some fans giving so much grief to what I assume was one of the directors in the directors box, possibly the guy who has resigned, that it doesnt surprise me. I felt really sorry for the guy stood there silent, just having to absorb the abuse he was getting that I nearly spoke up,........ but they looked a feisty lot and he was behind a flimsy metal railing so I carried on walking...
