Sounded like a very fair assessment to me.  Was there many cliches in there?  Are there managers who don't use them?  There is only so much you can say.

Plenty of possession, didn't create enough in the final third, never got out of second gear, too many players below par, too little too late at the end.  That's what I watched as well.

I'd be more worried if he said we were wonderful and can't understand how we lost.

The manager didn't do a lot wrong for me yesterday, starting lineup was OK, subs were as expected.

Think the players need to acknowledge they can and will have to play better.  If they do we will beat Dartford and that will give us a lift in terms of obvious points and confidence.

I was hoping Flynnie would ask him if he intended to get any more players before deadline day.

Sometimes you don't ask questions that you don't want answers too

short of admitting he hasn't prepared the team properly for this level not a lot he can say really...

you cant fill in long term injuries in this league and what you do needs to work and if it doesn't it needs changing quick....so we need a left back, proper cover for dens injury so that leather can play centre half or we need a centre half who WINS EVERY FLIPPING HEADER WHICH IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO IN THIS LEAGUE.....a right winger who plays on the right wing or a left winger to stand in for clee when he is injured......

playing conf N players out of position to cover in this league is pointless....literally.

we all expected macc to start poorly but the askey knows the league.
