Duncan at Old Trafford - Get on Down For Free
« on: September 10, 2014, 08:06:04 PM »

From my former life I am still receiving E mailed ticket and match information from Old Trafford including the following announcement :

Manchester United U21s

United's stars of tomorrow are taking on their Sunderland counterparts at Old Trafford next Monday (15th Sep), kick-off 19:00 BST.

All supporters can register for free entry by texting UNDER 21 SUNDERLAND to 60777*. A further message will sent on Matchday to advise which turnstile to enter.

If you are not doing anything next Monday get that text message in for free admission.

They were going to use Moss Lane but needed the extra capacity once it was confirmed that DW was playing  :D :D

Isn't there a rule that the club's main stadium needs to be used for a proportion of the u21 games, or did I make that up?

Either that or a certain number have to be played in stadia of a certain size. It's part of the attempts to make the U21s league as close to playing in the Premier League as possible.
