Spectator injury

Can anyone shed any light on a Woking fan falling over and needing paramedics?

Something about an unsafe area and a chairman shouting at them.

I like to hear both sides of a story  :)

To be fair those toilet steps are a death trap and it's no wonder that someone has fallen there.  We should be able to provide safe conveniences in 2014.

The Woking fan was complaining to Graeme quite loudly and said he was going to put it in writing to the club  ::)

Isn't that the 3rd time in 3 home games the St John Ambulance have been called in to use?

I spoke to the Gentleman in question as I went to retrieve the umbrella the club had lent to him. I asked if he was ok and before thanking me for the use of the umbrella and asking of his well being he said it was an obcenity spoke to him by a member of a local broadcasting company that upset him the most - the fall did not seem to be on his mind, he did seem rather upset at what had been said to him by said member of broadcasting company. He once again he thanked me asking of his well-being and for the use of the umbrella. Seemed like a nice chap to be honest.

I once fell over on the grass bank celebrating a goal currently where the new community centre is being built, a long time ago. I jumped up in celebration and slipped down the slope on my arse. My humiliation was complete when the hot chocolate I was drinking fell over my head when I fell.

Don't remember the game as it was mid 70's; but I do remember hoping no one saw me!!

It has been stated by the gentleman that he was accused of being drunk and that is what led home to fall over. This accusation came from "Altrincham Officials".

Apparently he wasn't drunk and had driven part of the way that day.

Willing not to accept one parties story as gospel but I do hope we haven't fallen fowl of the blame culture auto defence position.

We're not Barnet!
