Absolute mind blowing. He was living in a caravan when hey divorced then 20 years later she wants to revisit it? Surely the court will say either it was dealt with at the time or 20 years is an injust time. I could understand it if he was on his way when they divorced and this was 2/3/4 years down the line but 20?!?

It seems that financial matters were not finalised when they divorced though.

It also appears that this is linked to Dale Vince's financial contributions (or lack of them) towards the welfare of the couple's son.

She's claiming £1.9m but it seems generally accepted that any eventual figure will not reach that amount:

he had no money when they divorced

The welfare of son bit is bullsh*t as well as the son lives with Vince now

Throw this case out and award Vince damages

Why we have a thread about this?

Because it's wonderful to see how some people have short fuses. 😂

I wonder how much in benefits she's claimed over the years - any payout from vince should then be used to pay that back !

Interesting too that our erstwhile FGR chairman has a name which is an anagram of "vice laden"

Allegedly

I would have thought there was a settlement when they divorced.
If she wins!!!!!!!! Mind blowing.

Typical woman......guy gets successful without her, and she wants to jump back onto the gravy train. If she wanted out of his life in the first place, she should bloody well stay out ! Whilst I have no truck with Mr.Vince's way of imposing his lifestyle on others, I hope this gets kicked out and she ends up a loser.
Whether you agree with what she has done or not, she is not a 'typical woman'. That's just casual sexism.

Happy someone pointed that out.

It's typical in my experience. They claim to be feminists, but they'll happily jump in and take a bloke to the cleaners. Yes I'm bitter, and I've every justification to be so. And you can all labour your point till the cows come home (those that aren't crying to a judge somewhere).

I am, as Sybil Crowther so succinctly puts it, arsed.

The judge's remarks indicate that she is unlikely to win, and certainly won't get the full reparations she is asserting she deserves. All that has happened is that the case will be heard.
