I am quietly confident Alty will stay in this division this season. A couple of more decent signings and the top half of the table is well within reach.

Not convinced by any of our signings

We looking much weaker than 12 months ago, so I worried that we got a massive battle to say up this year.

20th at best

Hmm, a bit worried that switching off mentally after the Dartford game stalled our momentum.

Need some promising signings to restart it, not convinced by signings so far. And as Jimmy says the promoted sides are much stronger this season.

Also worried that O'Keefe may be a key player. (Not up to it on past record and what I've seen so far)

19th.

18th if Southport don't sort themselves out.

I always thought Williams got a rough deal here however I thought if we were prepared to get rid of a decent player it was a good thing because we were prepared to bring in even better players I hope that's the case

If we stay up again it's a good season ... awaits the your not driven enough posts ... Tough league that we can't afford to drop out of ... literally

I'd have to disagree that just staying up is a good season on what I saw it's not so tough however it's about opinions I also think it be harder this season so you may have a point

Nobody will be upset if we finish this season outside the relegation places. We obviously all want better than that and rightly so, but as a base level, staying up will be ok.

I think what we all crave is a proper cup run and a visit to Wembley in the Trophy, or at least a run to the latter stages. If North Ferriby can win it, we should be more than capable of doing so.

We missed a HUGE opportunity last season, that spineless loss at Bath will irritate me for years.

I agree, it was there for the taking.

I fear for us this season unless we manage to convince a creative and/or goal scoring midfielder to come to the club.....

Prediction: somewhere between top and bottom...

Mr Konk has got it spot on.
We need a midfielder who can pass a ball through a defence along the floor. If they are also prepared to shoot occasionally that would be a bonus.
The first two goals from Crewe demonstrated precisely what we are missing.
Like others I though Wilkinson then Williams could be the missing link but Mr Sinnot didn't seem to rate either of them highly enough to give them an extended run in the team.
