Maybe crowther should have a go we are a team who have scored 3 goals in 5 matches 1 of them wasn't over the line so we are not creating much surely he can't create much less

I expect a 4-5-1 formation with two defensive central midfielders to protect the back 4 and keeper.

Rankine will be the 1, and he will be brought back for corners to help in the air from aerial bombardment.

Going to be tough.

No disrespect to Tranmere, but.....

They've spent most of the last 90 years in the lower reaches of the League.

They had a spell of 10 seasons in what's now the Championship without ever seriously looking likely to reach the Premier League.

They've slipped since then and have just endured consecutive relegation.

Remind anyone of another club from a town on the banks of the Mersey ? Yes.....they're Stockport County with a Scouse accent !

In my book, we've already beaten a bigger club this season in Grimsby Town.  Injury crisis or not, I don't believe we have an awful lot to fear tomorrow - and I'm our resident pessimist !

stockport were in much worse shape when we played them but you are right Grimsby bigger club I don't think we will win because I don't think we are playing well though I wouldn't be amazed if we did

"Hopefully" back in a "few weeks". That's unfortunate.

I'm not amazed Phil the games I've seen before yesterday I thought we were poor so I wouldn't back them against anyone but that was a very good display
