I've been really gobsmacked by the generosity of Alty fans to the point where we are very close to a our initial target to replace the editing hardware. At this point in time we are just £400 short of getting Alty TV back on air - hopefully we can resume normal service next weekend. If you can help:

Thanks Shropshire Alty, we've obviously got to get a housing and various attachment accessories first, the idea is then to attach it to the net support poles at the Chequers end. Having to replace hardware for editing is the priority at the moment but hope to have it up and running in a few weeks time.

I might have a GoPro 3 with hard case and accessories you can use too (not quite decided if we want to keep it as a backup for our aerial filming business yet). It needs a new lens as it has a chip in the bottom centre of it that makes the lower part of the centre of the picture look a bit blurred, but spare lenses are easy to get off eBay for not much money and they are easy to fit.

We are very close and I am hoping to order the equipment tomorrow. With typically ironic timing the original spec I'd priced for is no longer available and the replacement is a couple of hundred quid more expensive. Every penny counts as they say so you can still donate
