This is worrying. They are now two down at home to the green slime in the Cup replay - if they manage to lose to the mob from the salt mines, watch out for a backlash on Saturday. Hope I'm wrong about that, but we do have a habit of under-performing against sides in the bottom third of the table ...

True - but they weren't much to shout about at home.

The fact they're losing to Northwich sort of suggests they're not very good...

They are a really odd club Borehamwood. I see the gate tonight was 512, so under 500 locals when the reward is a relatively local jaunt up the M1 to a winnable tie at Northampton. They had under 300 home fans when we beat them a couple of months back too. Decent ground and play off glory to feed on from last season but clearly no-one is in the town is in the slightest bit arsed. Also the worst South East/London away day I've ever been on for pubs too, it made Stevenage and Crawley look like a day on the beers round Cambridge or something, not one decent pub in the town centre. Essentially football at this level is wasted on them.

Saying all that we all know what happens when we play fellow strugglers at home...hopefully not this time.

The manager that got them promoted was Ian Allison.....he quit when they went to daytime training.

How are Vics funding that team on gates of 150 at Witton paying 90k for three seasons in rent?

It may come as a shock to you that not all football clubs are funded on gate revenue alone.

Yes, Vics rake it in from Sky payments, replica kit sales along with keyring and mousemat sales in their club shop.
