We need Dens back as soon possible , because of sinnott being out on a limb , not blaming him totally , but Scott is trying to cover for him and getting pulled out of position to much , how we got nothing from today is unbelievable, we have to start putting the chances away .

To be fair Scott doesn't even play next to Jordan. It's Luca that has to do the covering, and he had to do an awful lot of it today.

Leather has been fairly calamitous of late.

I thought Deasy was at fault, although some of the people I was with thought it was Scott.

The above said, don't most of the goals conceded in football come as a result of a mistake by a defender or the keeper ? If this is something we know can happen, then we have to expect the players upfront to do their bit and finish off the chances we create.

Today we created enough chances to win two games

After Rankine lost the ball on the edge of their 18 yard they route 1ed t over the top. Leather got outpaced but if Deasey had come out quicker he'd have got there.

Definitely Deasey at fault

Spot on. That's how we saw it too.

So is Rankine totally blameless if he lost the ball to begin with?

Do we have to blame anyone? As someone else has said we will concede goals as every team does, our issue is that we are not scoring enough of them.

Rankine (still not fit imho) certainly has to share some blame at the start. BUT....

Leather lost Norwood and left Deasy exposed. Norwood's finish was actually decent. I'm afraid I blame Scott most. And Deasy had an otherwise flawless game, saving us on a number of occasions.

Tranmere are actually mediocre at best, and will only make the playoffs if better sides above them in the league blow up.

And whilst I don't blame him for the result,  the weird dwarf with the whistle certainly did us no favours.

'Still not match fit '

Wasn't anywhere near any fit.  Looks like he's had the best Christmas ever

Rankine was just as fit at Cheltenham as he was when he was scoring, the bloke is out of shape however he is usefull because of strength and not a bad touch

Rather than blaming lads like Scott and Tim who regularly put their bodies on the line for this.club, can I suggest that going into games against sh*t like Torquay and Kidderminster with only 11 fit players might have something to do with where we find ourselves right now.

Unarguably so, but nothing to do with today.

Didn't make it today but... This season will be defined by the failure to improve the squad since the start of the awful injuries we have had. Bringing players back before they are properly fit is not the way to consolidate our place in this league. Playing half fit players isn't the way . The clock is now ticking. Doing nothing is not an option.
