Thanks again for doing these, really good quality as usual.
Can't bear to watch this terrible event again all the way through but the penalty that was given is at 5:45. Even by the standards of the officials at this level it is a farce! The Chester player takes about 4 steps past any Alty player then goes down as if he's on an escalator, even has the bare-faced cheek to appeal for it. Then the penalty whacked the adverts to provide the second laugh of the night. 2 comedy moments at least on what was possibly the worst night at Moss Lane for some time.

The 'foul' for the penalty was absolutely hilarious. WTF.

The team should watch this at training on Thursday. They owe it to themselves to beat Guiseley, never mind anyone else

Wow, didn't realise he'd gone that far past Deasy. Can only assume the ref saw/thought Deasy clipped his ankle slightly as he went past (not conclusive on video) and adjudged that to be the reason he didn't keep his balance (if a clip did affect his running motion then he's not obliged to stay upright).

Either way though, if he thought Deasy brought him down it was a red card normally.

Surely he cant have given that against Deasy - did he think Holness clipped him slightly - he was at least in the same half of the penalty area when he fell over.  That really is the worst dive I've seen and how the ref fell for it is beyond me

I think if you look at Holness after the attacker goes down he knows that he has clipped him.

you might be right there - no fury at the player that you would have expected even for a team with no fight in it.
