I'm struggling to see what benefit he could possibly have got from the loan at Telford. It certainly wasn't the goalscoring, confidence-growing loan period that we would have been hoping he'd have. Still, it was nice for him to have the opportunity to go to America in the hope of furthering his career elsewhere....

Indeed.

As far as I can see, he made just a single appearance in a competitive fixture during his abridged loan spell at AFC Telford United and all that amounted to was coming on as a 67th-minute substitute in a defeat against Hednesford Town.

At least he got to top up his tan in Florida though.
