Alty youth 'firm'
« on: March 28, 2016, 06:24:44 PM »

I expect I am not alone in noticing the group of 10 or so 11/12 year olds who stayed at the away end to offer abuse to the Southport fans at the start of the second half.  A couple of the knobs were sporting Stone Island and clearly thought that they offered some sort of threat.  They got shepherded by one(!) of our stewards back to the Golf Road end where they were kept an eye on.  However, as I was driving away at the end of the match, they had congregated on the grass outside the shops and were gesturing towards the away support; a couple of police cars had parked either side of the supporters coach as well.

I have no idea whether there was any nonsense, but the possibility of Alty finding itself with a group of pre-pubescent pretend hooligans is, frankly, depressing.

Not sure if they are the same kids but there were a few black hoodie/cap wearing kids at Halifax on Saturday.

Yes, I saw them too.  They may have been the same lot, but there were a few more of them today (obviously, given that it was at home).

so these 10 or 11 year olds are knobs are they?

Why don't you go and have word with them if they are so offensive to you?

so these 10 or 11 year olds are knobs are they?   Seemed to be acting like knobs so, 'yes'.

Why don't you go and have word with them if they are so offensive to you?  Who's to say I won't?  Not you.
- rather than whinge behind your keyboard....and you are doing what exactly?

When you have a point to make, let me know.

They're kids. They know no better. They aren't a big deal and quite frankly we should all be concerned about other things. Grow a pair.

They'll turn out like the Haribo Kids at Colwyn Bay if we're not careful. Best bet would be for a proper team of thugs from one of the bigger clubs to give them a good hiding.

They were literally about 12-13 years old. They need a bit of a scare, but a good hiding? Jesus Christ.

You seriously think the man gives up all his time for a club that he doesn't care about and he appointed Tolson because he couldn't be bothered to find anyone else.  Do you really believe that, honestly?
