'Football Buster' Update
« on: April 09, 2016, 08:58:05 AM »

Five players are within comfortable striking distance to win the game this weekend, with another six players set to pounce should the leaders go bust at the final hurdle & have to start the game again.

Full details of current individual standings can be seen here:-

https://footballbuster.com/buster/fbGameDetail.php?gameId=515

Remember that you can join at any time, as you will inherit the goals scored by your two teams since the start of the game.....so you could join now & have every chance of winning this game over the weekend!

Details of how to join this game are as follows:-

1.       Entry is just £5 per game and 40% of funds raised go to the winner.

2.       Register to choose 2 lucky numbers & get 2 teams from The Premier League, Championship & Football League. Registration is via an SSL secure payment gateway.

3.       Goals scored by your 2 teams are tallied daily, from all league games.

4.       The Football Buster Player League updates daily for our game. Land exactly on 21 goals to win, bust and drop to the bottom, but remain in the game.

5.       You can join at ANYTIME  - each of your 2 lucky numbers allocates a team to you & the goals scored by those 2 teams are backdated immediately from the start of the game, to give you a league position and join in.

6.       Winnings are paid directly by the club to you.

You can join online here:-

Having just checked my credit card statement the £10 I deposited has attracted a "Quasi-Cash" fee of £3 - apparently as "Football Buster" is treated as gambling it is then treated as a cash advance/withdrawal from my credit card!

So far my £5, entry has cost me £13 - because somehow it entered me 3 times then reduced down to 2 entries and now a £3 charge - I despise paying bank charges!

FootballBuster is currently down from the look of it - hope they havent gone "Bust"

I'll not be entering again !

I was just wondering if there was any update on this as the last game finished a few weeks back?

Thanks in advance.

I recall the website saying that the next game would begin in August

Thanks Jack. I have had a quick look on the website news feed but cannot find any reference to this.

What happens regarding the winners of the last game as I think I may have won it jointly with somebody else?

Brian Flynn advises that "The second 'Football Buster' game has now been completed and we have two winners: Ian Rosendaal & Nigel Davis (also a winner in the first game!). A screenshot of the final result is above. Each winner has won £17.60 and I will be in touch with both Ian and Nigel to arrange payout. As it is so close to the end of the season and it is unlikely that another game would be completed in May, the next game will start in August, when the new season starts".

Thanks Jack, I genuinely didn't see this, but appreciate the help.   :)

I note that it was published the day after we got relegated, which probably explains why I didn't read the site that day!   :D
