Financial clout
« on: May 25, 2016, 11:49:36 AM »

Salford starting to really flex their muscles. It's going to be a mental season in the conference north this year. Them and Fylde going toe to toe in terms of finance and the bigger clubs such as Stockport and Halifax sure to put together decent squads.

Where is Chorley's money coming from or are we that poor?

On paper it appears so - it would have been nice to have the pair of them together at the back.

One of the most compelling reasons not to get relegated into the Conference North for the 2016/17 season............lot's of wanabee clubs here, clubs with Conference National and Football League pedigree, clubs with good home support and clubs with insane chairman with money to burn.

A very tough league to get back out of - either a great manager needed or lots of money needed. Hope we have one or the other come August
