As does the standing season ticket price.............so in real terms a 9.5% increase because there are two fewer games than last season to watch

Fellow relegated club Kidderminster Harriers have opted to reduce their admission and season ticket prices for next season:

Why has the age for women concessions not been brought in line with men?
We are supposed to be in the age of equality.

If it funds a decent budget so be it. Average away journey is 65 miles, so it's swings and roundabouts

No mention of the £10 discount for early payment which has applied for the last few years, so the real increase could be even greater.

Of the other 21 likely members of Conf North, seven have a concessionary qualifying age of 60 according to their websites, eight start at 65 and six don't say, so might be presumed also to be 65+. None of them mention any differential as between male & female. I assume there will be a legal loophole allowing such differentiation but on the face of it this would look to someone minded to make an issue of it like discrimination.

We are up against some very big and proactive sides next year Alty should do a little positive PR for once do a deal with the 3 main local papers for a major back page advert raving about the push for promotion, great atmosphere they want to create, excellent facilities etc... a real positive spin on a promotion push season, aim  to get 1000 season tickets before the season begins at reduced rates! I havent done the sums but 200 adults and 100 kids seems a good deal with maybe a deposit scheme to make it seem even more affordable.
Huge social media push and school initiative along side this will make it happen. Get some early cash in get a good squad together and start winning bringing in even more fans and money! Its a little risky but its about time we took some!

STANDING season ticket= £250

SEATING    season ticket=£290

Difference = £40

However, if you wish to sit, buy a STANDING season ticket at £250 and pay 21 x £1 transfer charge to the stands. Total cost = £271, thereby a saving of £19 if you can be bothered with the hassle each time. ;)

Where did you get the idea you can pay £1 to transfer to the seats? There has never been such a policy at Alty.

There most definitely has. I don't know if you have ever noticed a steward handing out passes when people exit the main stand to the terrace, especially at half-time. If you try to enter the stand from the terrace without such pass, then you are supposed to be charged £1 by said steward. OKAY.

Doesn't guarantee your own seat though. You may end up sitting with that restricted view bloke.

Fair point, but I think there will be a lot more seats to choose from next season.
