I have never heard of Cheshire league side Rylands, but it sounds like a big waste of £100k

I can only applaud this guy.  If his Dad was a club stalwart too then clearly the club is really important to his family.  And isn't this a refreshing change from the sort of behaviour we see from agents.  This certainly is motivated by a love of football rather than love of money.

Well, they will be playing our reserves at least twice this season & I remember Rylands/Rylands Recs in the old Mid-Cheshire League 30+ years ago. I'm with the Guru on this one.

Refereed them many times in the (old) Mid Cheshire League.  Black & white stripes, if I recall correctly. Bit of a walk then from the changing rooms in the clubhouse.
