Without stating the bleeding obvious, there's also the fact we'll be running with a slightly larger squad than we've been previously used to, therefore lower wage per head

Hannigan should have the captain's armband all day long.  I can only assume, given the way he's talking about him, that Goodall has signed.

What's positive is that we now know 8/9 of the starting XI for Darlington - so we're getting there.

I do think it's a bit weird if Goodall has signed and it's not been officially announced. There must be more to the situation than this.

He's listed on the Players page on the official site, unlike Cain, for what that's worth. I don't remember seeing an announcement either.

I understand they can't announce it officially until his current contract ( presumably with Morecambe) expires. There was an assumption earlier that this would be end of June, perhaps it's the end of July? Either way, I believe he is our player...and a very welcome addition to it at that.

I think we just need to be patient, if that's possible on here!
