Only bit of quality was our 1st. Shame that on a perfect surface neither team could get the ball on the floor and play.

Nice set up at Harragate but pointless.

Goodhalll and Patterson have been the best 2 signings for me.

Thought Garner was superb but if he can play a full 90 I don't know.

Didn't see Halifax but of the 3 teams I've seen there's nothing between them.

If we could find a player who can turn a game we'd be ok.

We're possibly only two or three players away from being really good at this level

The surface wasbt perfect. They never are. I also feel it will be less of an advantage for Harrogate than their great big slope was.

Still, that's not our problem. Ours is we only have 6/7 quality players but also 4/5substandard ones who need replacing

It will be no good having a Clee type class act if we've got a keeper who gives teams a goal head start every game.

I wasn't saying we should bring Nicky back (the poor lad will probably be injured soon). The point I was making, was if we had a player even remotely like him, we'd run away with this league. Harrogate were bang average and others have said how poor Halifax were.
Clee injured again and missed Guiseley's last 2 games already.
There isnt anyone remotely like Nicky available either.

I think we need to move on now, Clee has gone. He had a poor injury record and was reportedly a high earner, NY had little choice. If he's injured again already that only proves that it was the right decision.

BHC has pace, can beat a man and put a cross in, we've not seen him yet in a league game with him being ill

Three points against Fylde would make our start look very promising indeed. We've been given the toughest opening fixtures in the league by a mile, so to come out of those opening three games unbeaten is certainly no bad thing.

We've hardly winged these results either, we've more than earned our points and I've seen lots that we can build on and take forward. Let's see where we are at the end of August.

Please stop talking about Nicky Clee. It's pathetic.

there is a lot more money floating round in this league this time .. you only need to look at Salford and fc United to see that

I've not seen us out played by anyone yet, we've not lost yet, we've been unfortunate with injuries and illness early doors to the point some players haven't even featured yet, we've had one of toughest starts on paper we could have had. I'm as sore as anyone about last years totally avoidable relegation, but it's very easy for moaning to become a habit. If we are heading to Kidderminster on ten points I'll see that as a decent solid start. We've another game against a side tomorrow with an embarrassment of riches, we need a couple of monkeys off our back,a first win under the new regime and a first away victory since last November. Winning only ten games last season has left everyone itching for progress, and had we started out with our first four games being against fodder we could
Smash 3/4/5-0 we'd still be going to Halifax and Harrogate at some point, arguably when they were more cohesive. We might not win tomorrow night, but a season isn't decided inside the opening four games, especially as no one is on a maximum return after just three.

I don't fancy us to win tomorrow - yet another draw I suspect - but I reckon we can open our away account at Gainsborough on Saturday.

Of course we can win tomorrow. My brother went to the Fylde Brackley match on Saturday and it seems they are no better than anyone else.
2-1 to us
