We are pleased to say we have successfully received a Sportivate grant to help fund a new pan disability football course at the Community Sports Hall. As part of our expanding community work, disability football is the one area we have yet to cover.

We now have football across all ages, abilities and genders at the club:
Toddlers: Alty Mini Kickers (Aged 2-3 and 4-5)
Youth: AFC Juniors
Adult: Ladies, Reserves, Supporters
Seniors: Walking Football

The new course we are running is six weeks long and players must be able to attend all six sessions, Wednesdays 4.00-5.00pm, commencing 26th October. This course is free, but places are limited, so please email us (community@altrinchamfootballclub.co.uk) to find out more or to book a place.
If the course is successful, it will allow us to continue into the new year and hopefully one day, we may be able to field our first ever Altrincham FC Disability Football team.

Not sure how many clubs offer this but superb work putting it on.

I hope we can find those willing to take up this opportunity long enough to have a team. Even if its only fives or sevens to enter the peoples cup

Great news but I've been banging on for ages about how we need to provide proper facilities for disabled fans to watch. We are truly lacking in this departement and it is not only shameful but also non conforming with The Equalities Act.

Indeed and it's something I've raised with the community team. What happened to the Ground committee, maybe it's a project they could take up?
