Needs to be given all the prize money again to continue to strengthen this team

If we had been up against a top half team in our league we wound have been turned over

However another huge win

Onwards and upwards

We have some fabulous players, but we are also carrying a few. With a new left back imminent, I'd hope some of the cup money could be used to bring in an experienced midfielder.

He was excellent,  but my MOM was Goodall. He always seems to be able to make himself space and time.

A hard fought win against a decent Matlock team, if their finishing was better we could well have lost that today. Cyrus needs to improve he makes far too many individual errors which will harm us when we play against the better teams. We could have done without Hannigan getting sent off, that's another 3 games we wont have him.

Next up its Telford. I expect they will bring a few fans with them,  lets beat them and continue the progression under Jim Harvey,

Here's hoping for bragging rights in deepest darkest Shropshire..

Just read Jim's comments on the game on the main site. No bull, just an honest appraisal of the game and where we currently stand. Totally agree with what he is saying, given time he'll get us right.

We are undoubtably turning the corner and have some good creative players....the team is beginning to pick itself and I think wilko has been a revelation.

We just need to stop giving the ball away so cheaply either by giving suicide balls to marked players inside our own half or not covering when a defender moves forward.

Reeves' goal was absolute class, deasy was brilliant, miller again showed his goal scoring attributes......I can see light at the end of the tunnel and actually think with a few adjustments and tweaks we can push for the play offs ....and yes i'm serious.

We probably can push for the play offs  next season .This season it would mean going on a long winning streak or unbeaten run

I agree with Jezza, but I was pooh-poohed last week for thinking along these lines.

I still think we'll be picked off for being too narrow against a lot of teams, which the inclusion of Miller, Lawrie and Wilko in a 4231 ultimately means.

To be successful this way, you need a couple of sh*t-hot full-backs - and DMs entirely on their game - which we haven't got at the moment.

But let's get the same 11/12 players bedded into an XI each week, and we'll have more than enough to survive and then kick on with (hopefully) some FA Cup funds for next year.

I wouldn't do any more team strengthening until the New Year, when we know exactly what we've got and what we haven't got.

Nothing has changed.  Lacklustre again . No communication or urgency on the pitch at all.

We need to reinforce urgently

Well done to Telford for thier first away win of the season

Give Jim everything he needs

Give Jim everything he needs

He's got 4 strikers but only starts with 1.

Playing 1 up front against sh*te like Morpeth, Bridge, Marlin and Telford doesn't do it for me.

1 shot on target today.

Get a grip. This league is wank and we will go down
