For me it's Mickleover Sport.

Plus we should take a good following to local games such as Warrington and Nantwich.

Very little over here local to me in the Premier, bar Whitby which is a town I personally find tedious at best. Scabby maybe coming up, which is worse than Whitby. I am going to opt for Frickley which may be an odd choice but does hold  some happy memories as the Late Mrs York Alty drew a lot of scenes and people from  the area all those years ago.

I would have said Shaw Lane Aquaforce (football team or car valeting service?) but the glue league made them drop the Aquaforce (they are top of the confusingly named Evostik Northern Premier League First Division South). However, if I am being more optimistic I will say York City!

Wensleydale RUFC

I'm quite happy to have a pop at the locals when they're being daft but Wensleydale is a lovely part of the world with some brilliant cheese.

Mind you I recall it snowing in June up there about six years ago.

Enjoy your trip.

It's a gentle stroll for him York Alty, unless there's a scenic bus service BBC 4 style, of which he'll probably have the chassis number.

Yep, they're daft alright. Chassis No.749 does it for me - maybe I'll get to drive it one day. Richmond Town FC is also worth a visit on the basis of its stunning  location alone (although they did  beat South Shields reserves recently....). I'm changing sports though.

Or perhaps Stalybridge, because we can win there!
