Two evenly matched teams tonight. Both playing attacking football. Two many hopeful punts forward at times but plenty of effort too. Dens had a solid twenty minutes when he came on to loud cheers in the second half. Nothing got past him.

I thought a draw was a fair result but if we get past Blyth I don't think the fixture against Macc will be pretty.

Use Saturday to get Dens more match time.  A fit Shaun is like having a new top quality player join. If we hope to stay up we NEED Shaun.

The way things stand at the moment there's every chance we'll be swapping places with Blyth at the end of the season. They were better than Matlock.

Got to agree about Shaun. He could make the back a lot more solid.

Dens 30 mins was the highlight for me. Some brilliantly timed crunching tackles and plenty of desire closing down. Give him back the armband and let him lead by example.
Not sure about how long term the management team of buzz, Robbie Lawton and Graham is meant to be , but it was nice to have some men that have some feeling for the club on the touch line.
