'Ye Olde Vic' pub in Edgeley welcomes all Altrincham fans on Saturday.

The pub normally opens at 5pm but following a request from F.C. United of Manchester, opened at 1pm when they visited Stockport.

This was a very positive experience all round & the pub has extended the same invitation for our visit.

The pub is on the corner of Chatham St and King St West & is a 10 minute walk  from Edgeley Park, very close to the Edgeley approach to Stockport Railway Station), so it's an ideal location if you are travelling by train.

All being well there will be six real ales on.

The pub operates a no swearing policy, which might seem a little draconian, but they find it helps make the pub a 'safe haven' for all.

A pub that opens at 5pm and has a no swearing policy. I'm surprised they are still in business.

Very good pub & long known on the circuit in Stockport even if the landlord is a bit enigmatic. We called there for a quick pint on our way back to London after the Matlock cup tie and found it a decent little spot for a jar.
